PTI Plans Major Protest on November 24, Aiming to Surround Islamabad from All Sides

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to launch a large-scale protest on November 24, with plans to surround Islamabad from all four sides. According to sources, the party leadership is determined to reach Islamabad at any cost, and key responsibilities have been assigned to PTI’s leadership in Islamabad and Rawalpindi regions to ensure the success of the protest.
Protests will be organized across various regions until the PTI convoys arrive in Islamabad. The leadership has instructed provincial leaders to direct their supporters to converge on different routes leading to the capital. On November 24, a nationwide demonstration will take place, with the final destination for protesters in Islamabad yet to be disclosed.
PTI’s core committee members have proposed setting up camp at D-Chowk, and the leadership has made it clear that the protest will continue indefinitely. The party has also directed Members of the National Assembly (MNAs) and Members of Provincial Assemblies (MPAs) to bear the costs of transporting their supporters to Islamabad.
In a statement, Ali Amin Gandapur, a senior PTI leader, indicated that the party has devised a comprehensive strategy for this protest, claiming that it is far superior to previous efforts. He added that if party leaders are arrested, Plan B would be activated, with backup leaders assigned to ensure continuity of the protests. A list of substitute leaders has already been prepared in case the MNAs or regional leaders involved in mobilizing protesters are detained.
The party has also outlined a joint strategy for managing the arrival of supporters in Islamabad, including accommodation and other logistical arrangements.
