Pakistani Balloon Resembling Aircraft Causes Stir in Rajasthan, Authorities on High Alert
Rajasthan, India: A Pakistani balloon resembling an aircraft caused a stir in the Indian state of Rajasthan, triggering a swift response from local authorities. The balloon, which was designed to mimic a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane, landed in the Bikaner region, sparking fears of a potential security breach.
Upon spotting the object, local residents immediately alerted the police and Border Security Force (BSF), who promptly sealed off the area and conducted a thorough search of the object. After investigation, it was confirmed that the balloon was harmless and did not contain any explosives or devices.
The balloon was decorated in green and white colors, resembling the design of a PIA aircraft. This incident marks the third time in the past 35 days that similar balloons from Pakistan have been found on the Indian side of the border, raising concerns among local authorities.
Interestingly, both sides of the border have recently seen a rise in smuggling activities involving drones, further intensifying security measures. This is not the first time such a balloon has been spotted in India; similar incidents have occurred in other states, with Indian authorities remaining on high alert.
Despite the balloon’s harmless nature, the event highlights ongoing security concerns along the volatile India-Pakistan border.
