New Road to Be Built Parallel to Lyari Expressway for Heavy Traffic in Karachi

A new road will be constructed parallel to the Lyari Expressway to accommodate trucks and trailers passing through Karachi. This new road will provide a 25-kilometer corridor that will allow heavy traffic to move 24/7. According to reports, the Exim Bank of Korea has granted funds for the construction of this parallel road project. The feasibility study for the project is expected to be completed within eight months, after which work will begin on the construction of the road. This initiative is aimed at easing traffic congestion and improving transportation infrastructure in the city.
