Lahore High Court Rejects Appeal Against Ishaq Dar’s Appointment as Deputy Prime Minister

LAHORE:The Lahore High Court has dismissed an appeal challenging the appointment of Ishaq Dar as the Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan. A two-member bench of the court heard the case regarding Dar’s appointment.
After deliberating on the matter, the bench upheld the decision of the single bench and declared the appeal inadmissible. The court ruled that the appeal was not maintainable and, therefore, rejected it.
The Lahore High Court has stated that a written judgment on the case will be issued at a later date. The ruling solidifies Ishaq Dar’s position as the Deputy Prime Minister despite challenges to his appointment.
