Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan Leader Calls for Unified Movement to Address Province’s Issues

Quetta:The **Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan** and Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) **Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch** called for the initiation of a **united and organized movement** to solve the issues faced by the people of Balochistan and to end their suffering. He emphasized the need for **unity among all political, religious, and ethnic groups** to address the province’s challenges.

Speaking at the **monthly organizational meeting** of Jamaat-e-Islami’s provincial leadership, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman stressed the importance of bringing together **all political parties**, including **religious, nationalist, and federal factions**, as well as **tribal leaders**, to form a collective effort aimed at the **welfare of the people**. He stated that this movement should not be led by any party flag but by the leadership of **ordinary workers**, who should guide the movement with a focus on **national dignity** and **honor**.

He further proposed that leaders, including **Sardars**, **Nawabs**, and **political figures**, should sign a **written agreement** stating that they would not seek any political positions or personal benefits for their families through the movement. According to him, this agreement would ensure that no one would seek **government positions, authority, or any material gains** from the movement. If any leader violated this written agreement, they should be considered a **traitor**.

Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman underlined that for this **movement to succeed**, the leaders must commit to these principles publicly and make it a **pledged statement** in front of the nation and the media. He highlighted that **party politics**, **personal interests**, and **power struggles** should be set aside in favor of **national unity**. If such a commitment is not made, he argued, no movement, unity, or benefit for the nation would be possible.

The meeting was attended by **Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan’s provincial leadership**, including **Deputy Amir Abdul Mateen Akhundzada**, **MPA Parliamentary Secretary Abdul Majeed Badini**, **Zahida Khatir Baloch**, **Murtaza Khan Kakar**, **Bashir Ahmed Mandai**, **Dr. Ata-ur-Rehman**, **Professor Maulana Muhammad Ayub Mansoor**, **Maulana Hafiz Noor Ali**, and several others.

During the meeting, the **Provincial General Secretary Murtaza Khan Kakar** presented the organizational report and discussed the implementation of decisions. The leadership also held consultations regarding the **current political and organizational situation** in Balochistan and took collective decisions for further actions.

Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman’s call for a united movement without personal or political ambitions is a step towards addressing the deep-rooted challenges faced by the people of Balochistan and ensuring that their voices are heard without the interference of political infighting or selfish motives.
