Australia Crush Bangladesh by an Innings and 51 Runs in Second Test

Australia defeated Bangladesh by an innings and 51 runs in the second Test in Mackay, wrapping up the match in just two days.

The Bangladesh Tigers were bowled out for 64 in their first innings and collapsed for just 95 in their second innings.

Australia scored 210 runs in their only innings, with Mitchell Starc producing a superb bowling performance. Starc claimed four wickets in the second innings and finished the match with 10 wickets overall.

Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon took three wickets each in Bangladesh’s second innings.

The result came after Bangladesh had created history in the first Test by defeating Australia on home soil for the first time. Bangladesh won the Darwin Test by nine wickets.

With one victory apiece, the two-Test series between Australia and Bangladesh ended in a 1-1 draw.
