Former PCB Chairman Najam Sethi Backs Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi for Every Team

Former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Najam Sethi has expressed strong support for star players Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi, stating that both should be part of every team.

In a recent interview, Najam Sethi said he is confident that Pakistan will reach the semi-finals of the ICC T20 World Cup. He also mentioned that the hybrid model currently being used in the team setup was introduced by him.

Sethi emphasized that Mohsin Naqvi would make careful and wise decisions regarding cricket matters. He added that the International Cricket Council (ICC) should not become like the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and noted that the Bangladesh Cricket Board has already pulled out of certain initiatives.

Commenting on the current state of the national team, Najam Sethi said it remains to be seen what decisions PCB will take, but he acknowledged that Pakistan has some of the best players in international cricket.
