JUI-F Balochistan Meeting in Pishin Welcomes Pakistan-Saudi-Türkiye Defense Pact, Calls for Greater Unity in Muslim World

PISHIN: The provincial general council of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Balochistan held an important meeting in Pishin under the chairmanship of provincial chief Senator Maulana Abdul Wasay, with members from all districts of the province participating.

The meeting reviewed the overall law and order situation in Balochistan, national and international political developments, public issues, organisational matters and the party’s future political strategy.

Members of the provincial general council presented their views, suggestions and recommendations on various issues. Participants stressed that political insight, consultation, organisational strength and effective public outreach were essential in the prevailing circumstances.

After detailed deliberations, the participants endorsed the proposed future course of action.

Defense Pact Welcomed

The meeting welcomed the defense cooperation and joint defense agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye, describing the development as a positive step toward greater cooperation, collective security and defense solidarity among Muslim countries.

The council expressed hope that the cooperation would help strengthen the common interests of the Muslim world, promote peace and stability and enhance collective defense capabilities.

Participants also stressed that Muslim countries should rise above their differences and unite around common interests in view of the current global situation.

The meeting called on other Islamic countries to become part of effective systems of defense, economic, political and diplomatic cooperation so that the Muslim world could better protect its shared interests, sovereignty, security and dignity.

Focus on Party Organisation

The meeting also conducted a detailed review of organisational affairs within JUI-F Balochistan.

Participants emphasised the need to make the party’s organisational structure more active, stronger and better coordinated. They called for improved communication between district organisations and grassroots units and for party activities to be expanded in an organised manner at the local level.

A two-day meeting of district presidents and general secretaries of JUI-F Balochistan had also been held before the provincial general council meeting under the chairmanship of Senator Maulana Abdul Wasay.

The earlier meeting reviewed the political, organisational and public situation across the province and resulted in several important decisions.

The party said the two consecutive meetings demonstrated that JUI-F Balochistan was carefully assessing the prevailing situation and making decisions through broad consultation, collective opinion and organisational discipline.

Commitment to Democratic Struggle

The provincial general council meeting was described as particularly significant in the current political environment of Balochistan.

Participants reaffirmed their commitment to continuing the party’s political and democratic struggle for the supremacy of the Constitution and law, democratic values, peace and stability in Balochistan, protection of fundamental rights and safeguarding national and collective interests.
