JUI Balochistan Chief Abdul Wasay Vows to Resist Electoral Manipulation, Calls for Mass Mobilization

Quetta:Ameer Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Balochistan and Senator Maulana Abdul Wasay has strongly condemned what he described as repeated attempts to undermine the public mandate, warning that JUI will no longer remain a silent spectator in the face of electoral manipulation and political conspiracies.
Addressing recent political developments, Maulana Wasay said that those whose politics revolve solely around power often cross all boundaries to secure parliamentary seats. “We reject the compromises that lead to the theft of public mandate. JUI has always conducted politics based on principles, ideology, and public support—and will continue to do so,” he asserted.
He accused hidden forces of reviving dark chapters of electoral history in NA-251, referencing the disputed dates of February 8, February 29, and January 5. “The same tactics, same faces, and same backdoor players are preparing for another sinister game,” he said. “But let it be known—we will not remain silent anymore. This time, we will respond with full force and determination.”
Maulana Wasay also denounced efforts to undermine JUI’s political strength, particularly pointing to alleged rigging in PB-7, PB-36, and PB-45. “A calculated campaign is being run to marginalize JUI. But the people are now aware—conspiracies can no longer be hidden,” he said.
He warned those who think JUI seeks only power, stating, “We stand for values, not power. That is what sets us apart.” He further alleged that certain elements, including the MPA from PB-7, are propped up by false mandates and hidden hands. “Their public image rests on fraud, and fraud never endures,” he remarked.
Urging his party workers and supporters to prepare for mobilization, he said, “The battle is no longer about seats—it’s between truth and falsehood, and we are certain truth will prevail.” He concluded by declaring that JUI will now take its struggle to streets, courts, and every constitutional forum, backed by its workers, voters, and unwavering public support.
