Saqib Chadhar Denies Arooba Mirza’s Allegations, Claims Messages Came From Fake Account
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member of the Punjab Assembly Saqib Chadhar has responded for the first time to allegations made by actress Arooba Mirza, rejecting claims that he sent her the messages recently shared on social media.
The controversy began after Arooba Mirza posted screenshots on Instagram that she claimed were old messages sent by Saqib Chadhar.
Breaking his silence, Chadhar said in an Instagram Story that the messages had been sent from a fake account created in his name, adding that he personally uses only his official account.
The provincial lawmaker further stated that Arooba Mirza had never been important enough in his life for any alleged relationship between them to be portrayed in such a manner.
He claimed that an attempt was being made to create a false impression about him and dismissed the allegations as baseless.
In a sarcastic remark, Chadhar wrote, “Differences or hostility are one thing, but even enemies should have some class and come from respectable families.”
The controversy gained further attention after actresses Momina Iqbal and Syeda Tuba Anwar also shared screenshots on social media that they alleged were messages linked to Saqib Chadhar.
Neither the authenticity of the screenshots nor the competing claims made by the parties has been independently verified.
