Trump Praises Nicki Minaj at White House Event, Gold Card Citizenship Claims Remain Unverified

Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump publicly praised American rapper Nicki Minaj during a luncheon held in the White House Rose Garden, describing her as an exceptionally talented, dignified, and influential personality.
In his remarks, Trump said that one of the guests at the event was someone he deeply admired and considered a close friend. He added that rather than calling her a conservative, he preferred to describe Minaj as a supporter of “common sense,” emphasizing that her talent, character, and influence had earned her widespread respect.
Trump further stated that Nicki Minaj stands out because of her extraordinary abilities and strong public presence, qualities he said make her unique.
Following the event, Nicki Minaj shared photos from the White House on her social media accounts, referring to herself as the “White House Barbie.” The posts generated mixed reactions from fans online.
According to reports, Minaj has also recently expressed support for Erika Kirk and said that Donald Trump has given hope to many people.
Meanwhile, some media reports have claimed that Nicki Minaj received Trump’s “Gold Card,” allegedly granting her U.S. citizenship. However, no official confirmation has been issued by U.S. authorities, and the claim remains unverified.
