Two-Year-Old Killed as Roof Collapses During Heavy Rain in Zhob

Zhob: A two-year-old child was killed after the roof of a residential room collapsed during heavy rainfall in the Tora Khola area on the outskirts of Zhob, while several houses were also damaged, local authorities said.
Following the incident, Assistant Commissioner Zhob, Muhammad Naveed Alam, visited the affected area to assess the damage caused by the rain. He directed the relevant departments to provide all possible assistance to the affected families and take necessary relief measures.
According to the Assistant Commissioner, the recent heavy rains damaged a large number of homes in Tora Khola, and the collapse of one room resulted in the death of the two-year-old child.
He said the district administration stands with the affected families and will begin relief and rehabilitation efforts after completing a comprehensive assessment of the damage.
Meanwhile, local residents have urged the government to provide immediate financial assistance to the affected families and launch emergency measures to restore homes damaged by the heavy rains.
