Swat Police and Pakistan Army Conduct Joint Grand Search and Strike Operation in Kabal Tehsil
Swat: Swat Police, in coordination with the Pakistan Army, carried out a joint grand search and strike operation against anti-state and criminal elements in the mountainous areas of Kabal Tehsil.
The operation was led by District Police Officer (DPO) Swat, Muhammad Umar Khan, and involved personnel from the District Police, Pakistan Army, Elite Force, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), and District Security Branch (DSB). A large number of local residents also participated in the operation.
The search operation was conducted in the mountainous areas of Qalagay and Jakar Baba, within the jurisdiction of Kabal Police Station. During the operation, security forces searched suspected hideouts believed to be used by miscreants and criminal elements.
Security officials also met with local elders to discuss suspicious individuals and activities and sought the community’s cooperation in maintaining peace and security.
In a statement, DPO Muhammad Umar Khan said that similar search operations would continue across various parts of the district to safeguard the lives and property of the public.
He added that the objective of these operations is to eliminate anti-social and criminal elements and maintain strict surveillance in view of the prevailing security situation.
The DPO emphasized that no one would be allowed to challenge the writ of the state or disrupt law and order. He said Swat Police, in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, remains on high alert and will deal firmly with anyone attempting to undermine peace in the district.
