New Notice Issued to Aatif Khan Over Allegations of Misusing Public Funds for Private Housing Society
Peshawar: The Anti-Corruption Department has issued another notice to former provincial minister Aatif Khan, accusing him of misappropriating public funds for a private housing society. This follows an earlier notice from the department.
According to sources, the new notice demands details related to the private housing society, which is alleged to have encroached on government land. The notice states that Aatif Khan is required to provide an inquiry into the private housing society’s operations. It accuses the society of illegally converting agricultural land into residential areas and misusing government funds.
Furthermore, the notice points out that advertisements have portrayed Aatif Khan as the owner of the housing society, necessitating clarification on the matter.
It is noteworthy that Aatif Khan has been asked to appear before the Anti-Corruption Department at the Peshawar headquarters on November 12 at 10:30 AM. This request is part of ongoing investigations into the Malam Jabba project, where he is alleged to have misused his authority.
