Ignore Mohsin Naqvi’s Remarks, Unity Between Government and State Institutions Is Essential: Nawaz Sharif to PML-N

Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has reportedly instructed party leaders to ignore recent remarks made by Mohsin Naqvi, emphasizing that unity between the government and state institutions is crucial under the current national circumstances.

According to a report by The News, cited by Investigations Editor Ansar Abbasi, Nawaz Sharif told party members that the country is facing significant economic, political, and security challenges, making coordination among key institutions more important than ever.

He reportedly advised party leaders to avoid any actions or statements that could create the impression of differences between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s government and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

Sources said senior PML-N leaders had conveyed their concerns to Nawaz Sharif over Mohsin Naqvi’s statement regarding the political system. In response, Nawaz Sharif urged the party leadership to exercise restraint and stressed that maintaining harmony among state institutions is in the national interest.

The reported guidance comes amid heightened political and security challenges, with the party leadership emphasizing institutional cooperation and stability.
