Explosions Reported in Southern Iran as Iranian Media Alleges U.S. Strikes on Coastal Areas

Explosions were heard in the southern Iranian coastal city of Sirik, according to Iranian media reports.
The reports said blasts were also heard on Qeshm Island and in the port city of Bandar Abbas.
Iranian media claimed that a fishery pier in Bandar Abbas was targeted in an alleged U.S. airstrike, causing multiple fishing boats belonging to local fishermen to catch fire.
According to the reports, several people were injured after missile fragments struck the commercial pier in Sirik following the alleged U.S. attack.
Iranian media further reported that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian cut short his visit to Iraq and departed for Iran after the reported attacks.
