One Suspect Killed, Two Injured and Arrested After Exchange of Fire with Police in Quetta

QUETTA: One suspected robber was killed and two others were arrested after an exchange of gunfire with police in Quetta, according to local police officials.
Police said officers from Kechi Baig Police Station responded to reports of a robbery in progress. Upon reaching the scene, the suspects allegedly opened fire on the police party, prompting officers to return fire.
During the exchange, a suspect identified as Nasrullah, a resident of Dhadar, sustained critical injuries and later died while receiving treatment at the Civil Hospital. Two other suspects, identified as Asadullah Raheja and Sanaullah Jatoi, both residents of Dhadar, were arrested in an injured condition.
According to police, the arrested suspects were allegedly involved in multiple street robbery incidents in various areas under the jurisdiction of police stations in Sariab.
During the operation, police recovered 11 stolen mobile phones, a TT pistol, and a stolen motorcycle allegedly used in the commission of the crimes.
The injured suspects were shifted to hospital for medical treatment. Police officials said they expect further disclosures during the investigation.
A case has been registered, and further investigations are underway. The allegations against the suspects have yet to be tested in court.
