End Differences and Adopt Piety in Your Lives, Imam Ali Al-Hudhaifi Urges in Hajj Sermon

Makkah: Imam of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi, urged the Muslim Ummah to abandon internal divisions and hold firmly to the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah while delivering the Hajj sermon at Masjid Namirah.

Addressing pilgrims during the sermon, Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi emphasized that Muslims should not become attached to the temporary life of this world but instead prepare for the Hereafter through faith, righteousness, and sincere worship of Allah.

He stated that Allah alone is worthy of worship and reminded believers that the Day of Judgment is certain to come. He urged Muslims to prepare for it by performing good deeds and avoiding sins and immoral behavior.

The Imam said that true believers soften their hearts when they hear the verses of Allah and called upon Muslims to adopt piety, honesty, and truthfulness in all matters of life. He also stressed the importance of fulfilling promises and following the teachings and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), whom he described as the final Messenger of Allah.

Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi further advised Muslims to remain grateful for Allah’s blessings and to show patience during hardships, noting that nations that committed ظلم and ingratitude in history lost divine blessings.

Highlighting the challenges facing the Muslim world, he said the Ummah today urgently needs unity, adherence to the Quran and Sunnah, and an end to internal conflicts and divisions.

He also instructed pilgrims gathered in Arafat to avoid political activities or unrelated campaigns during Hajj and refrain from any actions that could disturb other pilgrims or create security concerns.
