Saudi Arabia Welcomes US-Iran Ceasefire; UAE Declares Victory

Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates has described the recent conflict as a success, with President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s advisor Anwar Gargash stating that Emirati defenses safeguarded sovereignty and dignity throughout the war.

Gargash emphasized that despite enemy aggression, developmental achievements remained intact, and the UAE is prepared to navigate the region’s complex challenges. He added that Emirati leadership will continue to play a strong role in shaping the future, strengthening the UAE model through power, stability, and resilience.

Meanwhile, the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the US-Iran ceasefire, expressing hopes that the Strait of Hormuz would remain open and that the ceasefire could lead to a comprehensive and sustainable peace in the region.
