Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Maulana Fazlur Rehman Hold Key Consultation on Political Tensions and Opposition Strategy

Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — A significant meeting was held between Mahmood Khan Achakzai, head of the Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Aeen Pakistan and leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, and Maulana Fazlur Rehman, chief of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), in the opposition lobby of the Parliament House.
During the meeting, both leaders discussed the overall political situation in the country, parliamentary affairs, and matters related to the ongoing National Assembly session in detail.
The consultation focused on the prevailing political tensions in the country, parliamentary proceedings, and possible strategies for cooperation among opposition parties. The two leaders also exchanged views on the conduct of the current assembly session, the government’s approach, and the need for a coordinated opposition strategy.
Both leaders emphasized that Parliament must play an effective role in addressing public issues and strengthening democratic stability in the country. They also agreed on the need to further enhance coordination and consultation among opposition parties in the current political scenario.
