Nasrullah Khan Zehri Meets NHA Chairman; Decision Taken to Complete N-50 and N-25 Projects on Emergency Basis

Provincial President of the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party, Nasrullah Khan Zehri, held a detailed and technical meeting with the Chairman of the National Highway Authority (NHA), Captain (Retd) Asadullah Khan Baloch, to review progress on key national highway projects, identify bottlenecks, and discuss public travel difficulties.

During the meeting, serious concern was expressed over the slow pace of development work on the N-50, including the Kuchlak–Bostan–Khanozai–Kan Mehterzai, Muslim Bagh to Nushki, and Qila Saifullah to Zhob sections. Issues related to traffic safety and the increase in accidents due to construction delays were also discussed. The long-pending commencement of practical work on the Qila Saifullah Bypass and Zhob Bypass was taken up with seriousness.

In addition, the need to accelerate ongoing projects on the N-25 (Karachi–Quetta–Chaman) and improve construction management and oversight was emphasized.

Chairman NHA Captain (Retd) Asadullah Khan Baloch assured that development activities, particularly on the N-50, would be expedited on an emergency basis. He further stated that the NHA office in Qila Saifullah would be fully activated and that administrative and technical measures would be taken to ensure timely completion of projects, reduce road accidents, and provide safer and better travel facilities to the public.

The meeting was also attended by General Manager Engineer Agha Inayat and other relevant officials of the National Highway Authority.
