Iranian FM Abbas Araghchi Holds Telephonic Contacts with Pakistan’s Civil and Military Leadership

ISLAMABAD: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has held separate telephonic conversations with Pakistan’s political and military leadership to discuss regional developments and efforts related to a ceasefire.
According to Iranian news agency reports cited by Geo News, Araghchi spoke separately with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir.
During the discussions, both sides exchanged views on the regional situation and matters related to the ongoing ceasefire efforts.
Meanwhile, Pakistan has been actively engaged in diplomatic efforts to facilitate a ceasefire between the United States and Iran.
Officials stated that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Field Marshal Asim Munir have remained in continuous contact with leadership in the United States, Iran, and other countries as part of ongoing diplomatic initiatives.
