Shahid Rind Calls Sana Baloch’s Statement “Political Hypocrisy and Escape from Reality”

Quetta: Adviser to the Chief Minister Balochistan for Political and Media Affairs Shahid Rind has strongly reacted to a statement made by Balochistan National Party (BNP) leader and former senator Sana Baloch on social media platform X regarding the speech of the Chief Minister of Balochistan.
He termed the statement as “a worst example of escaping from reality and political hypocrisy.”
Shahid Rind said that Sana Baloch is limited only to issuing statements instead of studying history, adding that during past political tenures of her allied leadership, the youth of Balochistan were kept away from education. He contrasted this by stating that leaders like Mir Ghous Bakhsh Bizenjo made efforts to strengthen educational foundations by bringing expert teachers from abroad.
He further said that while efforts were made in the past to open the doors of education, politics of hatred, division, and linguistic polarization was also promoted, and Sana Baloch continues to represent the same mindset.
Rind alleged that creating an anti-Punjab narrative for political gains and misleading the public has been a practice of such elements, which he said are represented by Sana Baloch today.
He added that Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti did not name anyone in his speech, but the immediate reaction from Sana Baloch reflects where the message was directed. He further said that such “restlessness” would not have emerged if the past record had been clean.
Shahid Rind said that the provincial government is providing equal educational opportunities to all children across Balochistan and is taking practical steps in this regard, while certain elements are still trying to push the youth towards politics of hatred instead of development.
He concluded that the government will not be influenced by pressure or propaganda and will continue its journey of education and development under all circumstances.
