Quetta Chamber of Commerce Backs Transporters’ Strike, Urges Government to Address Concerns Before Implementing Ordinance 2025

Quetta (Daily Qudrat) — The **Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry** has expressed full support for the ongoing strike by transporters against **Ordinance 2025**, urging the government to address their concerns and reservations immediately.

Chamber officials met with a delegation from the **Balochistan Goods Truck Owners Association (Registered)**, including Central President **Haji Noor Muhammad Shahwani**, Secretary **Jafar Khan Kakr**, Vice President **Haji Zahir Shah Yousafzai**, Additional General Secretary **Haji Muhammad Gul Kakr**, and other key members.

The Chamber criticized the government for implementing **Ordinance 2025 without consulting transporters**, calling their concerns valid and justified. Officials warned that the strike could severely disrupt the transportation of essential goods, potentially affecting business activities in the province.

The Chamber assured the transporters of its support and stated that it will continue to advocate for the resolution of issues affecting the business community in Balochistan.
