Pakistan Reaffirms Solidarity with Saudi Arabia, PM Shehbaz Tells Crown Prince

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has assured Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman that the government and people of Pakistan will always stand shoulder to shoulder with their Saudi brothers and sisters.

The assurance came during a telephone conversation between the two leaders, in which they discussed the ongoing regional tensions. According to an official statement, the prime minister expressed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia in the wake of recent attacks.

Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the attack on the Al-Jubail oil facility in Saudi Arabia, reiterating full support for the Kingdom. He emphasized that Pakistan would stand by Saudi Arabia just as the Saudi leadership and people have supported Pakistan in difficult times.

The prime minister also praised the Saudi leadership’s restraint and wisdom during the current situation and highlighted Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts, in coordination with other countries, to promote peace and de-escalation in the region.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in turn, appreciated Pakistan’s efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability, acknowledging Islamabad’s role in easing tensions through diplomatic engagement.
