Rain Brings Pleasant Weather to Islamabad and Several Areas of Punjab

Rainfall in Islamabad and several parts of Punjab has brought pleasant weather to the region.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, rain was recorded in Rawalpindi, Lahore, and other areas of Punjab.

The department has forecast that more rain is expected today in Islamabad, the Pothohar Plateau region, upper areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir.

Meanwhile, heavy rain and landslides on the previous day caused the closure of the Karakoram Highway at several points in Upper Kohistan.

In a separate incident in Shangla District, lightning struck a house, killing three members of the same family.
