Doctors Strike at THQ Hospital Wazirabad Following Clash with Police

**Gujranwala** — Tensions erupted at **THQ Hospital Wazirabad** after a dispute between doctors and police led medical staff to halt their work.

According to the hospital’s Medical Superintendent, the SHO of **City Police Station Wazirabad** allegedly locked a doctor in a room and physically assaulted them over a delay in issuing a medico-legal certificate.

Police, on the other hand, claimed that a lady constable had gone to the hospital for a medical examination, during which doctors behaved rudely and later accused the lady doctor of theft of her purse.

The **Gujranwala CPO** has taken notice of the incident and formed a joint investigation team to probe the matter further.
