Two Officials Martyred in Terror Attack on Customs Office and Police in Dera Ismail Khan

At least two security personnel were martyred after militants attacked a customs office and police near Yarik Interchange in Dera Ismail Khan, police officials said.
According to a police spokesperson, the assailants targeted the customs office and police contingent in the area, opening fire during the attack. As a result, Customs official Asrar Khan and police constable Muhammad Bilal embraced martyrdom, while two other personnel sustained injuries.
The injured officials were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Officials further stated that the attackers also set two customs vehicles on fire and opened fire on passenger buses, spreading panic in the area.
Police retaliated promptly, forcing the militants to flee the scene. A search operation has been launched in the surrounding areas to apprehend the attackers.
