**Islamabad (Daily Qudrat)** — In a significant diplomatic breakthrough, **Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to uphold the ongoing ceasefire and move forward with the peace process**, following talks mediated by **Turkey and Qatar**.
According to a **joint communiqué**, the next round of negotiations is scheduled to take place in **Istanbul on November 6**.
The **Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs** announced that all parties had reached an agreement to **establish a monitoring and verification mechanism** to oversee any potential violations of the accord.
The statement added that under the new system, **any party found in breach of the agreement would face penalties**, ensuring greater accountability and transparency in the peace process.
The communiqué further stated that this mechanism would serve as a **foundational step toward sustaining peace**, enhancing **mutual trust**, and providing a **practical framework for resolving disputes** between the two neighboring nations.
