Altaf Tarar Says Alleged Harsh Treatment Narrative Against PTI Founder in Jail Debunked
Islamabad (Qudrat Roznama) – Federal Information Minister Altaf Tarar stated that the narrative circulated by Alima Khan and other family members of PTI founder Imran Khan regarding alleged harsh treatment and poor conditions in jail has been debunked.
In his statement, Altaf Tarar said that detailed information about daily routines, diet plans, living conditions, and meals has clarified all ambiguities. He emphasized that the PTI founder has access to all necessary facilities and enjoys privileges far exceeding those of an ordinary prisoner.
It is worth noting that the founder’s medical condition was highlighted in a report submitted to the Supreme Court by Friend of the Court Salman Safdar, which stated that despite treatment, Imran Khan retains only 15% vision in his right eye. The report also called for an urgent medical examination of his eyes.
