Following his release from Peshawar Zalmi, Saim Ayub was retained by Hyderabad for Rs1.26 billion (Rs12 crore 60 lakh). With this deal, his PSL salary has surpassed that of leading national stars including Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Shadab Khan.
Aggressive top-order batter Usman Khan has also been included in Hyderabad’s retention list and was retained for Rs462 million (Rs4 crore 62 lakh).
In the Emerging category, Muaz Sadaqat was retained for Rs350 million (Rs3 crore 50 lakh), while fast bowler Aakif Javed was retained in the Gold category for Rs196 million (Rs1 crore 96 lakh).
