Mohammad Asif Triumphs in World Games Snooker, Advances to Quarterfinals

Chengdu, China: Pakistan’s Mohammad Asif has secured another victory in the World Games Snooker event, winning his second match in the group stage. On Monday, Asif defeated Germany’s Alexander Vdov 2-1 in a thrilling encounter.
After losing the first frame 29-43, Asif made a strong comeback. In the second frame, he played a brilliant 109 break, clinching a commanding 116-9 victory to level the match. Asif continued his strong performance in the deciding third frame, securing a 67-32 win.
With this victory, Mohammad Asif topped Group B and has already qualified for the quarterfinals. The quarterfinal matches of the World Games Snooker will be held today, and Asif will be looking to continue his winning streak.
