Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Orders Strict Checks on Travel Documents at Karachi Airport

Karachi: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has emphasized that passengers with incomplete or unverified travel documents will not be allowed to travel.

During his visit to Jinnah International Airport, the minister reviewed immigration processes at various counters and personally checked the travel documents of some passengers. He also directed FIA officials to verify the authenticity of the documents.

Minister Naqvi praised ASI Amir Lashari for stopping three passengers with incomplete documents, calling it an exemplary act of duty. He stated that no professional beggars or individuals attempting to misuse travel will be allowed to depart under the pretext of being passengers, emphasizing that Pakistan’s honor must be protected.

He added that passengers with valid documents will not face any obstruction during travel. The minister also interacted with departing passengers and inquired about the immigration process.
