Scholars Agree to Take Action Against Anti-State Elements in Madrasas

Islamabad:scholars from various schools of thought have reached a consensus that they are prepared to take action against any anti-state elements hidden within religious seminaries. This announcement came during a press conference held by leaders of the Ittehad Tanzeemat-e-Madaris, including prominent figures like Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman and Allama Shabbir Mehmti.

Mufti Taqi Usmani, speaking at the press conference, emphasized the need for proper registration of seminaries by the state. He expressed a desire for seminaries to be registered and for bank accounts to be opened to maintain transparent records of their activities.

Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman affirmed that they have never engaged in activities against national security and have always supported the armed forces. He further stated that religious seminaries have never sought to exploit conflicts and should be viewed as allies rather than adversaries.
