Karachi Gripped by Cold Weather as Temperature Drops to Single Digits

Karachi: Cold weather has tightened its grip on Karachi, with temperatures dropping to single digits in several parts of the city.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the weather is expected to remain dry over the next 24 hours, while nights will continue to be cold.
The Met Office reported that the city’s minimum temperature was recorded at 9.5 degrees Celsius, with the minimum temperature likely to remain between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is expected to range between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius.
Humidity levels in the air are around 58 percent, and light winds are likely to blow from the northeast.
The PMD further stated that the lowest temperature during the night was recorded at Jinnah Terminal at 7.9 degrees Celsius. Other areas recorded varying temperatures, including Gulistan-e-Jauhar at 10.5 degrees Celsius, Shahrah-e-Faisal at 11.5 degrees Celsius, Bin Qasim at 11 degrees Celsius, and Mauripur at 12.5 degrees Celsius.
