I Can Order My Military to Attack Any Country at Any Time, Says Trump

**Islamabad (Qudrat Daily):** A strongly worded and aggressive statement by former US President Donald Trump has sparked global concern.

According to an international news agency, Donald Trump said in an interview that he has the authority to order the US military to attack any country in the world at any time. He claimed that, as the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, he has full powers and that no one can stop him from issuing such orders.

Trump further stated that decisions to launch military action against any country are made solely on the basis of his own moral principles and personal judgment, without regard for anyone else’s opinion.

His remarks came at a time when the US Senate approved a resolution for debate requiring President Trump to seek congressional approval for any further military action in Venezuela. The resolution was passed for discussion with 52 votes in favor and 47 against.

Reacting angrily, Trump criticized members of his own Republican Party who supported the resolution and warned that those senators would not be able to win future elections.

However, Trump later canceled plans for a second phase of military action against Venezuela.

It is worth recalling that on January 3, US forces reportedly carried out an operation in Venezuela, attacking the presidential palace and arresting President Nicolás Maduro along with his wife. According to reports, the couple was taken from their bedroom, transferred by helicopter to a naval vessel, and then moved to the United States.

President Maduro and his wife were presented before a New York court on serious charges, including alleged money laundering. They rejected all accusations, calling the action an abduction rather than an arrest, and insisted that Maduro remains the legitimate president of Venezuela.

The US operation reportedly resulted in the deaths of around 100 people, including 55 Venezuelan and Cuban military personnel. Following the incident, an intense debate erupted over the legal grounds under which the United States carried out the military action and detained the Venezuelan president and his wife.
