Detailed Report on Arshad Sharif Murder Case Submitted to Constitutional Court

Islamabad: A detailed report on the investigation into the murder of journalist Arshad Sharif has been submitted to the Constitutional Court.

According to Express News, the court heard the case during which the Additional Attorney General presented a comprehensive report outlining the steps taken by the government so far. The report also includes details related to the investigation conducted by the Joint Investigation Team (JIT).

Additional Attorney General Aamir Rehman informed the court that the report also specifies the future course of action. He said the JIT is required only to travel to Kenya to collect evidence, and once the on-site assessment is completed, the investigation will be finalized.

The hearing of the high-profile case was conducted by a two-member bench headed by Justice Aamer Farooq. Following the proceedings, the court adjourned further hearing until after the winter vacations.
