KP Chief Minister Announces “Imran Khan Release Peace Force” of Millions

Islamabad: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sardar Sohail Afridi has announced the formation of a large-scale “Imran Khan Release Peace Force,” claiming it will consist of millions of members drawn from various party wings.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Afridi said the initiative aims to bring young people onto a single platform so they are prepared whenever former prime minister Imran Khan gives a call.
He stated that the proposed force would include members from all wings of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), including lawyers and the party’s youth wing. “Forces can be of different kinds — relief force, tiger force, and task force — and this will be a peaceful force comprising all segments of the party,” he said.
Afridi also criticized what he described as the “snatching of mandate” on February 8, adding that those involved were not well-wishers of his party.
The KP chief minister further rejected medical reports from Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) regarding Imran Khan, terming them “fake.”
