Baloch Students Front Holds Central Committee Meeting, Reviews Challenges and Future Strategy

Quetta:The Central Committee of the **Baloch Students Front (BSF)** held its fourth meeting under the chairmanship of **Central Vice Chairman Fazal Baloch**, where organizational matters, critical discussions, the national and global political landscape, and the future plan of action were thoroughly debated.
The session began with a review of previous decisions presented by the Central Secretary General, followed by a detailed performance report highlighting organizational shortcomings. Members resolved to make serious efforts to overcome these weaknesses in the future.
Leaders stressed that student and political organizations play a backbone role in maintaining unity among nations, adding that no nation or state can achieve lasting stability without strong institutions. They described these organizations as “a firm wall” against state oppression, emphasizing their role in producing future leadership and cadres.
Participants underlined the importance of **criticism and self-criticism** as tools for accountability and growth, calling them essential for national movements and social revolutions. They noted that the reluctance to accept criticism has weakened the Baloch national movement over time.
The committee also discussed regional and global political issues, condemning restrictions on political activities in educational institutions, profiling of Baloch students, threats of expulsion, enforced disappearances, and what they termed “state-sponsored attempts” to instill fear among the Baloch people. The BSF vowed that students would continue to defend their educational rights and institutions with unity.
In terms of future planning, the meeting decided to revive organizational activities, improve training and literary work, and address financial challenges with new strategies. Additionally, **Miyār Abid, General Secretary of the Uthal Zone**, was appointed as an honorary member of the Central Committee.
The meeting concluded with the formal announcement of closure by Vice Chairman Fazal Baloch.
