Meeting Held at Gwadar University to Review Fall 2025 Admissions and New Semester Preparations

Gwadar:An important meeting was held at Gwadar University to review the progress of the Fall 2025 admission campaign and preparations for the upcoming academic semester. The meeting was chaired by Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sabir.
The main objective of the meeting was to ensure that all preparations for the new semester are in place and that the admission process for the upcoming academic year is streamlined and effective. Dr. Sabir emphasized that Gwadar University is committed to promoting higher education, especially in the fields of Blue Economy, education, and research in the region. He directed all relevant departments to finalize their arrangements before the start of the new semester.
The meeting was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Syed Manzoor Ahmed, Registrar Daulat Khan, Controller of Examinations Dr. Rahim Mehr, Director of Finance Rahmatullah, Director Oric Mohammad Irshad, and In-charge Admissions Naseer Ahmed.
During the discussions, it was emphasized that the admission campaign should be made more efficient, student-friendly, and transparent to ensure that a larger number of students can benefit from the university’s academic programs.
A significant educational development was also announced at the meeting. Starting from the next academic year, the university will launch 2.5-year Bridge Degree Programs. These programs are designed for students who have completed 14 years of education and are looking to move toward a Bachelor’s degree. The bridge program will offer a comprehensive and flexible academic pathway.
Additionally, the Vice Chancellor revealed that the university administration is working on introducing more scholarships to support students financially, ensuring that education remains accessible to students from all economic backgrounds.
Dr. Sabir appreciated the efforts of all departments and instructed that prompt and effective implementation of all decisions should be ensured to maintain the academic standards and institutional performance of the university.
