New districts and outdated system.

Balochistan Provincial Assembly in 17th session passed a resolution of new districts in Balochistan for an administrative easiness and a fair distribution of resources for the folks of Balochistan.

Common resolution of three Members of Provincial assembly passed by majority in today’s session Quetta.

Resolution presented by Minister for Sports and Youth affairs Meena Majeed regarding making new districts out of Kech district of Balochistan in the Baloch belt.

A common resolution of Asghar Rind,Barakat Rind and Meena Mejeed stated that “Kech District is comprised of more than 1.4 Million people which makes it the second the largest district after Quetta the Provincial capital”.

She said while presenting the Resolution that Kech geographical boundaries extends up to 350 KM from Turbat to Iran’s boarder.

The resolution was primarily focused on the huge distance and bearing of high population rate by subdivision like Tumb,Mand and Radeeg from the Headquarter of district.

The resolution was also supported by opposition members but along with a harsh and critical remarks by leaders positioned in left of the Assembly.

“Tumb and Mand should be made districts as the population level is astonishing exceeding but along with this resolution, Quetta should also be part of this resolution,which needs to be divided in three further districts”,said the parlimantart leader of ANP Zmarak khan Achakzai

Jamiat Ulema Islam prominent member Asghar Tareen shifted the attention of Speaker of the house Rehmat Saleh Baloch(the speaker of the house Capt: retired Abdul Khaliq Achakzai was absent) towards the need of administrative divisions of highly populated areas of Balochistan.
Speaking on a point of order Mr tareen stressed on the issue as
“New districts needs to be made on purely administrative basis, it must not get politicised” said Mr tareen.

New districts are the need of Balochistan Experts belive,In the largest Province of Pakistan ‘Balochistan’ there is an urgent need of administrative division of high population bearing districts for better and more approachable administration,fair distribution of resources and absolutely the most the Rule of Law.
