Foreign Woman Behind Honey Trap Scam in Rawalpindi; Investigation Uncovers Further Evidence

Rawalpindi – Significant progress has been made in the investigation into a honey trap scam involving a foreign national, Marina Khan, who allegedly led a gang that robbed citizens after luring them through social media.
According to the latest reports, police have recovered an additional Rs. 533,000 from the suspects, following the earlier seizure of Rs. 250,000 and weapons. The gang, led by Marina Khan, a Malawian national of Pakistani origin, includes her husband Bilal, and accomplices Farooq, Tayyab, Kamran, and Abdul Jabbar.
Investigations reveal that Marina Khan used social media platforms to initiate contact with citizens and arrange meetings. Upon arrival, victims were held at gunpoint by her accomplices and robbed of cash and valuables.
SP Saddar Rawalpindi stated that strong evidence has been collected and a detailed challan will be submitted to the court to ensure strict punishment. He added that criminals who exploit and blackmail citizens will be brought to justice and will not escape the law.
