Pakistan Bans Indian-Flagged Ships from Its Ports in Retaliatory Move

Islamabad:Amid escalating tensions, **Pakistan’s Ministry of Maritime Affairs** has officially **banned the entry of Indian-flagged vessels** into all Pakistani ports with immediate effect.

According to an official notification issued on Saturday, the ministry confirmed that **no Indian-flagged ship will be allowed to dock at any Pakistani port**, and likewise, **no Pakistani-flagged vessel will anchor at any Indian port**.

This reciprocal move comes in response to **India’s earlier ban** on all **direct and indirect imports from Pakistan**, as well as its decision to stop **accepting letters and parcels from Pakistan** and to **deny port access to Pakistani-flagged ships**.

The development marks a further deterioration in diplomatic and trade relations between the two nuclear-armed neighbors, raising concerns over regional maritime trade stability.
