Security Forces Eliminate 15 India-Backed Militants in KP Operations

ISLAMABAD: Security forces have killed **15 India-backed militants** in separate operations conducted across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The spokesperson said that on **15 and 16 November**, security forces launched two intelligence-based operations in **Dera Ismail Khan’s Kalachi area** and **North Waziristan’s Dattakhel region**, following confirmed reports of the presence of the militant group known as *Al-Khawarij*.
During the operations, the terrorist hideouts were effectively targeted, resulting in the elimination of **15 militants**, including **10 in one operation and 5 in the other**. Among those killed in Kalachi was **Alam Mehsud**, a key leader of the militants.
ISPR stated that a clearance operation is underway to root out the remaining India-sponsored militants in the region. It reaffirmed that the counter-terrorism campaign will continue until the complete eradication of foreign-backed terrorism from the country.
