PTI Leader Rahim Kakar Criticizes Punjab Police and Jail Authorities

Accuses Maryam Nawaz and Family of Abusing Power

Quetta: Rahim Kakr, a senior leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Mayor of Quetta, has strongly criticized the Punjab Police and jail authorities over their alleged mistreatment of PTI leaders, including Imran Khan and his two sisters. Kakr, along with other prominent PTI members such as Sardar Hassan Shah, Jamil Bostan Advocate, Mirwais Advocate, and others, condemned the “unbearable” behavior of the police and prison staff, describing it as an insult to the law and an abuse of power.
Kakr accused Maryam Nawaz and her family of using their influence to orchestrate what he termed as “unimaginable atrocities” against PTI workers, including filing illegal FIRs and subjecting thousands of party members to wrongful imprisonment over the past few years. He emphasized that such actions showed complete disregard for justice, as if Pakistan belonged solely to their ancestors.
“The police have committed the most severe violations, and they will be held accountable for every act of cruelty. PTI knows all its enemies, and we will not let them go unpunished,” Kakr declared.
