Alleged Corruption in Development Budget of UC Laleen Charbak Sparks Public Outrage

Turbat:A controversy has erupted in the Laleen Charbak Union Council (UC) of Turbat, as allegations of corruption surface over the misappropriation of a development budget worth **16 lakh rupees**. Local residents have raised concerns that the allocated funds, intended for development projects in the area, were embezzled through the collusion of the UC Chairman, Secretary, Engineer, and contractors.

According to the citizens, there are no visible development projects on the ground, and no consultations were held with UC councilors regarding any schemes. The locals have accused the authorities of blatant corruption and called for immediate action against those responsible. They have demanded that the relevant departments conduct a thorough and transparent investigation into this financial irregularity and bring the perpetrators to justice.

In their statements, the residents emphasized that if swift and appropriate action is not taken, they reserve the right to protest and stage a sit-in, warning that they will take to the streets to voice their grievances. The situation has sparked significant public unrest, with calls for accountability and the proper utilization of public funds.
