Illegal Occupations on School Properties to Be Removed Immediately, Orders Quetta Deputy Commissioner

Quetta:An important meeting of the District Education Group was held under the chairmanship of Quetta Deputy Commissioner Captain (R) Mehrullah Badini to review the educational performance for the month of June. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Muhammad Anwar Kakar, the District Education Officer, all Deputy District Education Officers, the Treasury Officer, and representatives from RTSM.
The session included a detailed discussion on the **Rationalization Plan** for schools, addressing staffing and resource allocation. RTSM presented its monthly report highlighting attendance of teaching and non-teaching staff. According to the report, **salary deductions totaling Rs. 1.508 million** were made in June due to unauthorized absences, as part of strict disciplinary measures.
Key issues discussed included:
* Establishment of new teaching positions
* Scheduling of interviews for vacant posts
* Salaries of contract employees
* Disbursement of HR allowances
A particularly serious concern raised in the meeting was **illegal occupation of government school properties**. Some school lands were reported to be under encroachment or being misused by unauthorized individuals.
Taking strong notice of this, DC Quetta issued **strict directives** to all Assistant Commissioners and magistrates to **immediately remove encroachments** from school premises within their respective subdivisions. He further instructed that a comprehensive **report on the progress be submitted promptly** to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office.
The meeting reflects the administration’s intent to ensure transparency, discipline, and protection of public educational assets across the district.
