Balochistan CM Meets with Women Doctors’ Delegation to Discuss Healthcare Improvements and Medical Education

Quetta:On Thursday, Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, met with a delegation of female doctors led by Professor Dr. Ayesha Siddiqua (President’s Pride of Performance Award), Director of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Regional Office Quetta. The meeting focused on the improvement of the healthcare sector and the promotion of medical education in the province. Provincial Minister for Education, Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, was also present during the discussion.
Professor Dr. Ayesha Siddiqua presented the challenges faced by the healthcare sector in Balochistan and suggested various solutions to address them. She emphasized the need to improve the quality of medical education in the province and the construction of modern hospitals to ensure that the public receives high-quality treatment and healthcare services.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti acknowledged the need for reforms in the healthcare sector and assured that the Balochistan government would take all possible measures to strengthen the healthcare system. He reiterated that providing the best medical facilities to the public is the government’s top priority, and all relevant institutions must work together to achieve this goal.
Professor Dr. Ayesha Siddiqua praised the Chief Minister’s commitment and expressed hope that practical steps would soon be taken to enhance medical education and improve hospital infrastructure, which would lead to significant improvements in the healthcare sector.
