Gas Load-Shedding Continues in Quetta During Ramadan, Causing Hardships for Residents

Quetta:Despite the holy month of Ramadan, Quetta is still experiencing ongoing gas load-shedding, leading to significant difficulties for residents in preparing for Iftar and Suhoor.

According to details, gas is being completely shut off from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily, while during Iftar and Suhoor hours, the gas pressure is either extremely low or nonexistent. Citizens have expressed frustration, stating that the lack of gas availability is making it harder to observe religious duties, such as fasting and offering prayers during Ramadan.

Despite special directives from Balochistan Governor Sheikh Jafar Mandokhel, Sui Southern Gas Company has failed to restore full gas supply to the city. Residents have called on the government to take immediate action to improve the gas supply, hoping to alleviate their hardships during the blessed month of Ramadan.
