Criticism Mounts as Imran Khan’s Son Caught Enjoying Cricket Match Amid National Team’s Loss

Dubai:A high-stakes match of the Champions Trophy between Pakistan and India was held at the Dubai Cricket Stadium yesterday, where Pakistan faced a crushing defeat by 6 wickets, virtually eliminating the national team from the event. This loss sparked widespread criticism of the team, but a separate controversy began circulating when a new image emerged of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s son, Qasim Khan, at the stadium.

Qasim Khan was seen enjoying the match and was photographed meeting Indian cricket fans as well as former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi. These images quickly went viral on social media, sparking a wave of online reactions from users.

One user, Faisal Khan, commented that while his father is reportedly in a dire situation, Qasim Khan had traveled from the UK to Dubai to support Pakistan. Another user, named Timur, shared a picture of Qasim Khan and remarked that PTI supporters were calling for a boycott of cricket, while Imran Khan’s son was enjoying the match in Dubai.

The image of Qasim Khan with Shahid Afridi prompted another user to mention YouTuber Imran Riaz’s previous claims that Imran Khan was being kept in solitary confinement and was under inhumane treatment. The user pointed out the apparent contradiction of the situation, with Qasim Khan standing with someone who has been heavily criticized by the entire PTI party.

Saad Qaiser, another social media user, posted that history would remember that Imran Khan’s son enjoyed a match in Dubai, but did not visit Pakistan to meet his imprisoned father. He further questioned why the children of the common people should support Imran Khan by going to jail when his own son was not willing to come to Pakistan.

These images and comments have sparked a significant amount of debate online, with many questioning the actions of Qasim Khan and highlighting the growing divide between political figures and their supporters.
